Lucas Torreira, born on February 11, 1996, is currently a Uruguayan footballer who plays for the Uruguayan national team of Union Necalo Sampdoria. Midfielder Prior to the 2014–15 season, Lucas Torreira was appointed to the Pescara first team and on 25 October 2014 he sat on the bench for the first time. He made his senior debut in Serie B on 16 May 2015 at Varese, playing the game at the start. In this game he played 58 minutes before he was replaced by Matteo Politano. He played five promotional playoff games in the season. He was called up to the Uruguay full squad for the China Cup in March 2016. In 2018, he made his debut in a 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in China in the semi-finals.
